A Trip to Rhode Island

"That's a guy who's been places and picked up things along the way."

I said as I waited on the corner of Middle Neck Road and Grace Avenue in Great Neck. The man's car was packed all around him with plastic bags filled with his booty and other assorted goods.

That's how my Saturday adventure began. Running an errand with a friend at the local CVS. Little did we know that an errand and plans to eat meatballs at The Meatball Shop (corner of Allen St. and Stanton, in the LES) would bring us to the Marcy Projects, a backroom big band recording session, and watching rock icons in the making while in the company of good friends and Mr. Eric Krasno.

A New Year's Resolution?

I've never made a resolution for a new year due to my fear of breaking it. This time though, I've come up with a resolution I don't want to break, one that I hope I am successful in fulfilling.

For as long as I can remember I've dabbled in photography, but never gotten too into it. Therefore my new year's resolution: Bring my camera with me on a more regular basis. This past weekend it didn't leave my side. I also was fortunate enough to go out shooting with my grandfather this past Sunday morning, braving the cold and wind of Flushing, taking (in my humble opinion) some real gems. The following are a selection of my weekend photos.
